Recently, the “China New Energy Vehicle Quality and Reliability Improvement Promotion Conference and Kick-off Meeting for Intelligent Vehicle Lighting and Vision Systems,” organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and undertaken by Xingyu was successfully held in Changzhou. Over 30 representatives and experts from major automotive OEMs, including FAW Hongqi, BAIC Group, Geely Auto, Great Wall Motor, NIO, Li Auto, SERES Group, JAC Motors, and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, as well as core enterprises across the industry chain such as HASCO Vision, Daimon TYC, Nanning Laowang, Anrui Optoelectronics, Zhejiang Jiali, and Huawei Yinwang, gathered to jointly launch this special initiative and explore pathways and solutions for establishing a quality and reliability assurance system for intelligent vehicle lighting.of Xingyu emphasized in her address that the new energy vehicle industry is currently navigating the dual wave of quality upgrading and intelligent transformation. As a critical sensing and interaction system for vehicles, intelligent vehicle lighting has become a key focus of innovation across the industry chain. Against the backdrop of vehicle demand as a driving force, chip computing power as a foundation, and intelligent algorithms as a guide, the efforts to improve the quality and reliability of intelligent vehicle lighting and vision systems hold profound significance. She further stated that Xingyu will work hand in hand with industry peers and upstream and downstream enterprises, upholding its commitment to quality, collaborating on innovation, and dedicating full efforts to accomplish the tasks of this initiative, contributing to the high-quality development of the industry.
During the meeting, Zhang Chao, Business Director of the Industry Development Department of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, provided a detailed introduction to the work plan for the special initiative, clarifying the organizational structure, working methods, and core objectives, thereby laying the foundation for systematic advancement in the future. In his thematic presentation, Lin Shudong, Deputy General Manager of Xingyu pointed out that with the integration of electronic control, OTA updates, and scenario-based applications into intelligent vehicle lighting, the existing performance evaluation system has become increasingly outdated. There is an urgent need for collaborative efforts across the industry to establish an adaptive and forward-looking evaluation standard system, and to dedicate efforts to developing a “China Solution” in this field.
Representatives of automotive OEMs noted that new energy vehicles are currently at a critical stage of development, and improving the quality and reliability of intelligent vehicle lighting, vision systems, and related components plays a crucial role in supporting the quality upgrading of new energy vehicles. They expressed their willingness to collaborate closely with relevant enterprises and organizations, actively accelerate the relevant work to achieve the intended goals, and contribute to the quality and reliability upgrading and development of new energy vehicles.
